Ross Reels

I have just finished a week in Mexico fishing the flats for bones and permit and caught both ( a lot more bones than that other species) and was thrilled with the consistent performance of the Momentum LT drag. In the less open areas I was able to dial in the right amount of drag to keep those guys from turning into "mangro snappers". The reel is easy to clean after the trip and appears to be "bullet proof", can't imagine using anything else !!

i have an used and blown up most fly reels, from the $19.99 to the $599.00 and my momentum Lt has proven it self against my higher end reels...not just on one level all levels....i bought it for striped bass and bluefish ..but for chinook salmon , silver salmon and steelhead..last season my son and myself in a three day trip caught over or near 75-100 salmon and steelhead between 8 to 30 plus pounds this reel never faulted studdered or given me a complaint in anyway ....and we caught more fish in 3 days then a lot of people catch in a lifetime and this fantastic reel was a major factor in doing so, when you have faith in your reel and a 30lb salmon is making another 100 yard screaming run you feel confident and bad because your fly reel can handle what ever it can dish out no matter how many times they make their run....awesome drag, awesome reel......equal awesome times on the water

The reel was used in Hawaii for Hawaiian Bonefish with 8 weight rod. It was enable me to catch a great 9.5 pounder Bonefish. The reel is not only strong, but also provids very smooth drag control to fight with such a tough ocean fish. I fought the almost 10 pounder for 15 min. The fish run over 100 yds for three times and circle around the boat, but the reel never to loose any control. It was so really great time. I really love to use the Momentum LT for the great Bonefish trip and the other ocean fishes.
