I originally bought the beginners outfit so that I would have a fly rod for my friends to use when I took them fishing. I didn't want to worry about them breaking one of my more expensive rods. I ended up liking it so much that I wonder if it has become my favorite rod.

I love this rod for throwing small streamers and dries on the local streams but it has also proved itself on bigger rivers throwing some heavier nymph rigs. The colors are super fun and makes it easy to find your rod if you set it down on the bank!
