About a year ago, I met some guys from college who were really into fly fishing. I wanted to give it a try and I borrowed some equipment. After a few weeks I was in love and wanted to get my own gear, so I asked my buddy what he would buy and he said anything by Ross... American Made, lifetime Warranty, and good quality. I have never looked back, I have bought more gear from Ross since then, but this is the best package on the market to start out and get yourself in the water. Its easy to fish and has the feel of a higher quality rod. I had a chance to fish with a very expensive LOOP set up and I would rather fish my Ross any day of the week. Good Luck.
