I have had rods from 90% of the companies out there at one time or another and have liked some and disliked some or have liked a certain aspect of a rod and dislike others. I recently bought a Journey rod for my daughter and an FS for my son. I had to try them out and was blown away with the quality and castability. I went out and bought myself an FW and an FC. Great rods. I use the 9' 4wt. for Trout fishing and feel these are some of the best rods I've ever fished. They fish as well in close as they do far out, Protect tippets well and are just butter smooth casting rods. Ross is great with customer service. I'm a Ross fan. Thanks soo much Ross for oustanding products. You have a customer for life.
