I do not have tales to tell of far away places or monstrous fish wrangled in on fly lines. I am just a guy who spends as much time as possible in waders. I fish mostly Ohio and Pennsylvania. I do not have a lot of time to fish. I want a product that performs and is simple to maintain. So, when I re-entered fly fishing a decade ago, I asked the local fly shop a lot about reels, so much had changed. One brand was affordable and came highly recommended. Ross.
I've owned quite a few reels, the majority of my fly reels are Ross. My favorite is shown in this picture, a platinum Gunnison. I have a Colorado, Cimarron, San Miguel and Canyon. I was excited about the new Ross Worldwide and picked up one of each model as well.
